Here it is with some darker cooler shadows and other small changes most notably the background. Thanks for the suggestions. And if there are any others post them.

This is an underpainting w/ some drawing issues on the left side which I'm aware of. Any suggestions for a palette on this piece? I did this b/c I was struggling to figure the mixing out. I left out the insulators on purpose also.

This was a prep portrait to see how well I could figure out color from a black and white photo. Any suggestions on color change? Or anything else.

New paintings

Here's probably my first serious plein air attempt. I went out with Vince between Avon and Eden. Not a great painting, but I learned a little color-wise
